A seasoned industry executive, Valerie Burd leads ABM’s Business & Industry (B&I) segment across North America, the largest industry group in the company’s portfolio. With over 20 years’ experience at ABM, Valerie leads the growth, operations, and client experience across a vast and growing commercial real estate client base, including office, residential, hospitality, health care, sports and entertainment.  

Most recently serving as President of Education, throughout her ABM career, Valerie has delivered profitable and strategic business growth through a focus on the client experience, process management, service delivery and people development. She has also previously led the Business & Industry Strategic Accounts Group, as well as served as Regional Vice President of the B&I Northeast region, managing an expansive footprint extending from Manhattan to Maine.  

Before joining ABM, Valerie held roles with Tishman Speyer Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE. She also has served on the Board of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.  

Valerie graduated from Galway Regional Technical University in Ireland.
